MBA (Mutually Beneficial Activities) Foundation was started in January 2002, as a parents group, in Chembur with 7 young ladies with a Mission for a Life with Dignity & Self Esteem for the disabled. The main objective was to make them busy with fruitful occupation making packing of daily useable articles, after giving them the required training. From 2002 to 2015, we have been able to establish 4 satellite centres in different suburbs of Mumbai to reach out to help people with different disabilities with  Counselling, Therapy, Special Edu, Vocational Training & Sheltered workshops, as per their needs and capabilities, covering all age groups.

Our Integrated Rehab Services include:

 1) For Children with special needs: Early Intervention to integrate them in schools.

 2) For the Educable Youth: Distant Education under National Open School.

 3) For the Educated: Training & Development towards Job    Placement.

 4) For Trainable: Vocational Training & Value-Adding Activities.

 5) For severely disabled: Training for Activities of Daily Living.

 6) For Needy Persons: Life Care Including Residential Facilities.

7) Allied Support Activities: Assessment & Therapy, Counselling, Training the Trainers & Awareness building.

Since our inception, we have touched the lives of 1500+ Differently Abled Persons and Transformed them into a life of Ability

Our Community-based rehabilitation centre: Our GODS’ HEAVENS at Sangharsh Nagar is a Community Based Centre, built for the lower-income group under the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme. There are 35 children in the age group of 03 to 17 and we provide them early childhood Programme; Pre-vocational Skills and all kinds of need-based Therapy. The Parents’ literacy and financial levels are very low. 

Our beneficiaries are people from all walks of life – the criteria is only whether they can benefit from the services we offer and not whether they can pay.
