About Rajasthan Nat Samaj Sudhar Samiti

•Rajasthan Nat Samaj Sudhar Samiti was founded in the year 1996. Some of the concerned person of the community had thought to embark on the journey to remove the social stigma i.e. “sex work” attached to the name of the community “Nat”.

•The Nat community has been stigmatized and discriminated by the large sections of the society for the involvement in the trade of sex work. They have devoid of rights as a citizen although much claims have been made by different representatives of the public.

•The organization has raised the voice and tried to address the concerns of the community like health needs primary among them is HIV and AIDS, education, development of women and adolescents with whatever little assistance it has mustered from its own resources

   Badgaon, Harsoli, Ismyle dhaba, Gazi, Nandlalpura, Ramnagar, Padasoli

Informal education enters were opened , vocational trainings were provided and small seed loans were provided , youth clubs , youth parliament and self help groups were constituted and awareness generation exhibitions were organized.

Rajasthan Nat samanj Sudhar samiti was established in the year 1996 represented by 60 % sex workers with the intention to serve the nat community along with other communities covering various other subjects. Till today it has worked on the subjects of HIV /AIDS, general health, education, life skill, self help groups and livelihood. It has worked in some 20 villages inhabitated  by Nat and Regar community in the district of jaipur and tonk. The organization has got support from Rsacs, world vision, central social welfare board and donors like public representatives. The organization has dedicated staff of some 10 members of nat community who discharge their services on various issues.
